Hello! I am Eugene Kuznetsov, a recent undergraduate alumn from Ithaca College who enjoys dabbling in the interdisciplinary and the crossroads between art, technology, and design. I grew up participating in variety of activities such as playing piano, taking martial arts, acting in theatre, and being a small game server manager. In my pre-collegiate education, I have experienced a good blend of interests, having delved into graphic design, photography, and computer science. I graduated from Ithaca College in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Emerging Media, with minors in Computer Science and Game Development. I also formerly served as Treasurer for the Ithaca College Game Developer's Club and Ithaca Developer's Environment.

UX & Visual Design

I have done work on personal and school UI/UX-related projects, mostly in the web environment with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I've taken a Human Computer Interactions course, and it's to my hopes that with further practice, I will internalize those learned UX principles and account for the needs of potential users.

Development

During highschool senior year, I took a plunge into computer programming despite having no prior experience. By the end of that year, I'd gained a fundamental understanding of syntax, control structures, and concepts such as object orientation. I entered Ithaca College into an interdisciplinary program, and chose to complement my studies with a further understanding of Computer Science. I personally hope to become a competent developer who is able to provide polished and thoughtfully designed experiences with clean and efficient coding habits.

Illustration

My fundamentals of graphic design stem from an elective course I took during sophomore year of highschool. I enjoy making vector recreations of scenes and objects, playing with metaphor, and the nouveau aethetic. There is much for me to learn due to the limited classes I have taken and the my lack of experience. At the moment, I am self-teaching myself art fundamentals through online & text resources and under the tutelage of those I know.

Church Street

Photographer

I'm a hobbyist photographer armed with a convenient smartphone camera. With mobile editors and platforms like Instagram, it's been fun for me to snap, edit, and post. However, I also use the Adobe Creative Suite and Affinity products for more serious projects. I often take walks, so I'm limited by what I can encounter locally.
